Whose blog is it anyway?

I'm Mayank Sharma and I write about technology. Though I primarily write about Linux and Open Source, my first articles were game reviews for a general technology magazine. Before freelancing full time, I've served as the Assistant Editor of Linux For You magazine. Online, my articles for Linux.com, IBM developerWorks, Packt Publishing, Linux Journal, regularly feature on popular Linux news websites such as LinuxToday, LXer, etc, as well as popular technology blogs such as Slashdot, and Digg.

Update: Post the much-publicized Linux.com transfer to Linux Foundation, I'm now writing for Linux Format, Linux PRO Magazine, and a help-desk column for PCPlus.

I have written two books for Packt Publishing. The first is about Elgg, an Open Source platform that allows users to roll out their own social network. It's extensively used by educational institutes in the UK and elsewhere. The second is a guide that'll help admins roll out a secure Instant Messaging service over the corporate network using Openfire.

I like to teach and I've been invited as an Industry Expert to lecture on Open Source topics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

If you want me to write for you, or review your product or project, or if you want a review copy of any of my books, send me an email at geekybodhi -at- gmail -dot- com. You can also follow me on Identi.ca.
